From HECO point of view, prismatic cells of bolt connecting type is very suitable to make energy storage battery packs. But most prismatic cells in market are designed to make power battery packs which need laser welding. So HECO developped prismatic cells of bolt connecting type specially for energy storage. 3 models are available. 25AH, 100AH and 150AH can be easily connected in series and in parallel to get the popular needed battery pack sizes such as 12V 100AH, 12V 200AH, 48V 100AH, 48V 150AH and 48V 200AH, etc.
1- Customized for the size of the rack installation, thinner and longer, cell energy density of 160Wh /kg, 20% higher than traditional cells, system energy density increased by more than 30%
